Frequently asked questions
What counts as a screen?
A screen is one view of your page as a visitor scrolls on a phone. A 5-screen site is about five screens of content from top to bottom. We confirm the count with you before we quote, so the price matches what you need.
What happens if I cancel hosting?
Monthly plans can be ended with 30 days' notice. Your site stays online through the end of that notice period. You get a copy of your site files, so you can move the site to another host if you choose.
Do I own the site?
Yes. You keep your domain name and your content, and you get a copy of your site files. Hosting is the monthly service that keeps the site online.
What if I already have a domain?
Keep it. We connect your existing domain to the new site. If you need a new domain, registration is billed at cost.
How long does it take?
Most sites launch in 2–3 weeks from our first call. The timeline depends on how quickly we get your content and feedback on each round.
What if I want changes after launch?
Small changes, such as new photos, text, or dates, are covered by the one included hour in the Hosting and care plan each month. Anything beyond that is $90 per hour. Larger changes, such as adding screens, are $250 each.
How do payments work?
For a new site or redesign, the project is 50% to start and 50% at launch. Hosting and care start at launch and are billed monthly. Domain registration and licensed stock photos, if needed, are billed at cost.
